Forwarding lets you send messages from one chat—whether it’s with a friend or a group—to another chat. When you forward a message, it gets a “Forwarded” label with the original sender’s name, so everyone knows it didn’t originally come from the person sharing it with you.

• Tap Forward (the curved arrow)
• Choose or search for the chats you want to send the message to

• Tap an emoji or hit (+) to pick one from your keyboard
See who reacted to your (or others’) messages

• You can’t hide reactions or their counts

• You can also swipe right on the chat (from the Chats page) and tap Mute
If you mute / unmute a chat on your VAMA mobile app, it will automatically sync and be muted on desktop too.

Why your message might show a single check mark (sent but not delivered):
Messages sometimes take a while to send or get delivered. Seeing a single check mark? Totally normal. Here’s why it might happen:
• You or your contact have connection issues.
• Their phone is off.
• They’re out of coverage or roaming.
• They’ve run out of mobile data.
• They saw a notification but haven’t opened VAMA yet.
• Notifications on their phone are slow or turned off.
• They might have blocked you.
Quick fixes to try if your messages won’t send or deliver:
• Update to the latest VAMA app version.
• Update your phone’s operating system.
• Check your internet connection—Wi-Fi or mobile data.
• Restart your phone.
• Make sure you’ve verified your phone number in VAMA.
• Save your contact’s number with full international format.
Try these steps to keep your chats flowing smoothly!
Can’t hear audios for calls on VAMA? Try this:
1. Turn up your phone’s volume
• Make sure your phone isn’t on silent or vibrate only—audio won’t play loud if it is.
• Check the speaker volume and crank it up.
• Using headphones? Make sure their mute button or volume slider isn’t off.
2. Check your phone’s proximity sensor
• Screen protectors or cases can interfere—make sure the voice message/video is playing through the right speaker.
• If your screen goes black and audio cuts out, you might be accidentally covering the sensor. Adjust your grip and try again.
• If problems persist, test your phone’s proximity sensor by making a call—screen should turn off immediately when you hold it to your ear. If not, it could be a hardware or software issue.
3. Check Bluetooth connections
• Audio might be playing through a Bluetooth device you forgot was connected.
• Turn off Bluetooth in your phone’s settings if you’re not using wireless audio devices.
If your photos look blurry, check your internet connection. Blurry photos can happen if your connection is weak when uploading. Try these steps:
• Restart your phone or turn it off and on.
• Update VAMA to the latest version.
• Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
• Contact your mobile provider if issues persist.
If you can’t send long videos, try this:
1. Check your connection and file size
• Slower connections struggle with big files.
2. Lower the video quality
Record videos at a lower resolution outside VAMA, then upload using the attach media option to send longer clips.
3. Shorten or upload as Document
• Trim videos before sending.
• Or upload longer videos as a file
4. Forward videos instead
• You can forward videos you’ve already received without re-uploading them.
